Posted August 11, 2016. The problem is, it ain't working. The only other feature on the steering wheel is the horn but that works ok. On start up you can see the cruise control light come on and disappear and I know the car has cruise control fitted. I know there are potentially a few causes so I was wondering how to start the process.

Posted November 24, 2017. Ah ok, on the Mk3 Focus, to the right of the large headlight knob there are a couple of buttons with a dash clock picture and + & - symbols. These adjust the dash brightness, they can be a bit slow though so press once then wait a second or so and it should brighten a bit after each press.

According to the diagram, the feed to the rear brake lights goes to the LH side first. You could check that there is 12V or so at the plug to start with. Cable is Green/Red. If there isnt, the Gren/Red goes all the way back to the battery fuse box where it links to the rear centre brakelight. LEDs, whats your Watts.

But I'm confused about no light on dash. Car re-started by jump-starting and runs fine, but will not start again if stopped : battery not fully re-charged. So, I had a 2016 Ford Explorer brought into my shop. The vehicle came from a local car dealership that I do diagnostic and troubleshooting work for. They had Hi there I'm having a bit of a problem with my console and dashboard lights. Also Mondeo at least at 4:02. EDIT: And one warning: in that test session the Mondeo motor didn't start at -39-40°C temperatures, so be careful out there. Start motor was rotating but the diesel engine didn't run. Somehow funny but perhaps not allways if you really are in the middle of nowhere and the conditions are like that.

The one on the outer edge of the light adjusts left to right, the inner one does up and down. I had my lights pointing at a wall about 50 yards away and could see them moving slowly as I was adjusting them.
